Goldstone is a man-made stone. It is a type of glass with glittery metallic material in it. Its sparkle is due to flecks of copper. Called the “stone of ambition and drive”, and as such is said to help attain one’s goals. It is a valid classification, as it has many properties of NATURAL glass, such as obsidian which are modified by its being man-made and having been doped with additives.
 
Originally created when alchemists were working towards creating gold. This stone is gently uplifting and helpful to the Solar Plexus Chakra. Goldstone is also said to help one stay calm and stabilize the emotions. It can be used as an energy generator and can deflect unwanted energies, making it used as a protection stone. It is also used for long distance healing and revitalizing one’s energy field. Goldstone allows an increased flow of energy to channel through the sender. This makes it a great reiki stone, for it allows this energy to flow by emanating it from the senders hands.
